[ Whether Yusuf was quite so protective of Rhada before this dream coming to The City, is debatable. Rhada is quite the intelligent feline, and it doesn't take much more than one trip around the hot, arid streets of Mombasa to find that hand-outs are not common. This might very well be where Yusuf's stray problem stems from.

Precisely; a cat that primarily lives indoors off of my doting hand.

You tried luring her back with....fish...or something?
[ THEORY: platter of fish in front of apartment building will draw All the Cats....including Rhada????
. . .trial and error okay...]

Lure her back-- [ Yusuf sounds perplexed for a moment. ] Arthur, to lure her back she would have to be somewhere within smelling distance, otherwise I am just some crazy man wandering around with an open pouch of cat food.
[ Which.. okay, he's not above, but... he didn't think of that. ]

Buildings 1-4 for Eames, I'll take 5-8. Ariadne should check the area near 9-12.
Meet back after or before that if she comes back sooner.

Get ready for all the loving, Arfur. ]
Yes. Good. [ This is, after all, what Arthur is good at. Yusuf feels marginally better knowing there is some sort of plan coming together. ]
If you find her, ring me, yes?

Anyway, he will not rebuff the cat. It's a pet. In the end, they always win...
As to calling Yusuf if the feline in question is found, he replies: ]
Obviously.
[ Pause. ]
How'd she get out in the first place?

[ When you've lived with cats long enough, you learn to differentiate an accidentally left open door and a door that has been nudged open just enough to allow mischievous felines to go roaming about. ]

[ It was...probably Eames? Ariadne? Someone who left after him.
Well he's not going to point a finger specifically. Yet.]

[ He's sincere in the sentiment, checking around outside and hoping his device will alert him to someone who has found her. ]
