[ Well, as of right now, a cat. The rest of his menagerie is still at his home in Mombasa, hopefully being fed by the man who sits sentinel in the den. Yusuf can only hope. ]
Perhaps I will have to find my way to this video shop. It would be well worth it for a little reminder of home.

[ If it looks like Yusuf is trying to keep himself from smiling at the feline's antics, then that is perhaps because he finds the nasty look she shoots said feline rather amusing. Something tells him either she is a first time cat owner, or these cats aren't hers to begin with. Silly things. ]
Well, 'nimboo' in hindi means lemon, and the suffix 'da' is a word of affection; the way one would call something little or small. So yes, it is a song about a little lemon- though not so literally about a lemon. The lemon is the vehicle for the metaphor.

More that, she is saying that love is the lemon. It can be tart and make your mouth water, but if you have too much of it, the lemon will burn your tongue. The man staring at her is her betrothed, but at that point, she has intentions toward another.
