I want to donate my body to science.
People can like whatever they like, but when the subject of the value of my own funeral or memorial service comes up, things are different. I place little value in such things for me because they strike me as a "Ding-Dong! The Witch Is Dead" sort of thing. What would be the point of holding events that would be nothing to me other than celebrations of the fact that I finally kicked the bucket? And if it is argued that funerals and memorial services are meant for the living, fine! Let them have such things on their own. But they cannot have my body.
