I have completely overlooked my birthday this year. Big inspections, deadlines, and adult life in general have all but killed the child-like bliss of a birthday this year.
Look, even my post to myself is a day late.
However, the thing I enjoy so much about a birthday is the spontaneous and heart felt wishes one receives on that day from so many places. I did receive these wonderful wishes this birthday and for that I am most grateful.
Birthdays are naturally a time to take stock of our lives and progress.
But, to hell with that! This year I just want to laugh:
