I really liked your commentary on your list. Otherwise one just sees a book and says "Oh, I've heard that's great" but then you move on.

10. I'd really like to know how Watership Down figures into business psych!(?)

11. I had a hard time deciding between this one and the one I finally included.

Cool list, and better with commentary. I'll go do mine now. :D

10. I never did figure this out. I'm assuming he was using the different leadership structures from the different warrens to make a point.

11. I haven't read the one you mentioned. I haven't read much of Coelho's more recent works. I discovered him circa 1995 and read a whole buncha stuff that he'd put out up to that point. But, frankly, a lot of it just started to get really repetitive to me. The Alchemist and By the River Piedra are the two that really stood out for me.

As to #1, I stopped reading the series when it turns out that Ayla invented EVERYTHING. I liked your Neanderthal/Mormon comparison. lol

Ayla invented EVERYTHING

*groan* I know, that's the other thing that annoys me. It starts verging on Forrest Gump unbelievable after a while.

*Sigh* I love books. I will get around the ones on this list I have never read some day. Really I will. Thanks for the great meme.
