Today began as a rather slow day. I arrived at work on time and bored with being awake to experience the monotony. However, some time after noon I had both the floor (the dinning room) and the bar to patrons to serve. My mood had improved by three, and I was out by 5 P.M. to begin drafting my resignation letter. I have a month left to invest my free time towards packing my things for my coming move.
After leaving downtown for home, I changed once there and left yet again. I dropped by, my fellow musician friend, David's for some pointers and creative insight to assist my developing bass skills. I had a blast! I managed only to spoil the night for a few minutes: I hit my bass on a wall on my way from his apartment.
And let us mourn the 29 miners of the Pike River Mine in New Zeland, as well as the many other miners who've lost their lives inside of the Earth.
