Happy Labor Day While Laboring
I'm at work, serving, presenting murdered lives on dishware likely made and shipped by several many individuals who too are laboring on this day, for any number of reasons, while our real bosses do anything but. Considering the countless nameless workers attacked or made deceased at the hired hands of their employers, one may infer I consider myself lucky, and I do; however, I'm not lucky because my employer would be liable under criminal law in such a case. I consider myself lucky because I can choose to make the working lives of future employees better than my own. I'd begin by making Labor Day a federally paid holiday for all workers, especially those of us within the service sector.
