sunday, bloody sunday.....
So sunday started off nicely.... the weather was crap, but we just wanted to hang out and wath the super bowl.
The original plan was to go to this local bar that was showing the game and doing like, free wings or something. Somehow, we got into a conversation about the casino that they've been to before, and then someone said "why dont we go to the casino, I'm sure they have the game on!"
So, I find out the name of the casino, look it up online (Pala Casino & Resort) and I give them a call to see if they are showing it... and they are.
So, plan is changed so that we can go someplace where Sara, Martin and Steve can do something fun, while I sit and watch the game.
I took out a hundred bucks, 50 for Sara to spend, 50 for me....
She goes off, I'm watching the game......
About 1/2 hour in, she comes back, and she shows me a slip with her winnings on it..... 132.97
WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!? Nice........
Then, she goes away again for awhile, comes back in, hands me two - 100$ bills, and says "hold onto these and DONT let me spend it!"
She played out the rest of her money, but we never touched that 200...
SO, the ads were funny, halftime was great.....I'm....NOT quite ready to discuss the results just yet. Maybe next week.
In fact, I'm even going to switch to the "sara dancing" to put me in a better mood.

Drive down to the Casino (which is in the San Diego suburbs) - beautiful

Sara coming out 100$ ahead at the casino - wonderful
Super Bowl ads - mostly funny
Game - heart-breaking
But today? The sun is shining, the clouds have cleared up, and we're headed out in a little while to drive up the coast and check out some of the beaches.
