Spring? Winter? Summer?
I went Friday morning for my annual mammogram and for a bone density
test. The mammogram was a 3-D one and was slightly more uncomfortable
than the usual, but as I said to the tech, since my two closest
relatives had three radical mastectomies, I will show up faithfully
and uncomplainingly for as many mammograms as are requested.
In contrast, the bone density was easy-peasy. I'm too big to lie down,
so they took an x-ray of my forearm. I could see what they saw and it
didn't hurt at all.
I was finished and out of there before 8:30.
The temps are in the 70s or high 60s for the next seven days and it was the same mostly for the past seven. I have hereby declared this to be Spring. And I am enjoying it!!!
