A warm end for November
The weather is warm and cloudy - in the low 70s. It is eerie, but very pleasant. I
hosted the Talmud study group this morning, then a friend dropped by.
I have backed up my current and the last laptop that I had to my
external hard drive. I need to get some thumb drives and take off the
pictures and the writings.
My meeting with the rabbi was canceled because he is sick, my canasta
game yesterday was canceled because the people I play with were sick,
my canasta game tonight was canceled because the host is sick and I've
been disinvited to bridge tomorrow night because I've been sick. Do
you pick up the theme here???
I called my best friend in the world yesterday - we've been friends
for 57 years - her birthday was yesterday and we talked for about an
hour and a half. It was terrific. We've written cards and emails and
see each other on Facebook, but there is nothing like talking to her.
We decided to talk on the phone at least once a month from now on.
