I've been eating way too much recently and I blame my brother! Unlike me, he is moving back to Singapore so it seems like he is packing in as much as his favorite food as possible during his time left. Unfortunately his favorites are also sinfully rich and the cause of my recent weight gain. I seriously need to go on a diet once he leaves.
One of the places we discovered recently is this little donut stand out in Glendora which is midway between my place and my uncle's. Thank god it's somewhat far away or I'd be there everyday.
Donut Man has the most amazing strawberry donuts that are only available in the summer when strawberries are in season.
Warm glazed donuts are sliced in half and filled with lots of sweet strawberries. There's a bite out of mine because I couldn't wait!
Another one of my favorites is their Tiger Tail which I wish I had taken a picture of. It's basically a huge, (over a foot long!) soft, yeasty twist donut swirled with strands of chocolate then covered in glaze. Yum!
