Football

We've taken two road trips to visit Koda in Dillon, Montana and watch his football games. I love the sound of helmets and pads hitting, especially when Koda is doing the hitting!! With college ball he had to earn his position and so he starts on special teams - which is kick off, punt return and punting - he's second string as a safety and has gotten to play a lot due to injuries and the coaches choice to let Koda go in more - WOO HOO.

Sunflowers

Since the turmoil of the last few weeks of Lisa's passing away, chaos at work and writers block I've spent a lot of time sitting by my garden and enjoying the flowers and butterflies. It has helped ease the pain and helped me start writing again. I'm almost back to myself again!!!

Empty Nest

Sal and Maria moved to Colorado a week ago and the house seems so quiet and lonely now. I miss them terribly. Sal was always so apt to play a practical joke or sneak up behind me and scare me. Maria and I talked about mascara - shopped - smoked out by the flowers and giggled. At last report, their adventure in Greeley Colorado is going well. The ball python and chihuahua traveled well, both Sal and Maria have jobs and they are settling into their routines. This is excellent news and I wish them the very best! Love you guys!!
