A lot of my friends are musicians. But I usually find this out before I've known them for too long. J-, on the other hand, is a freaking gifted dark horse. Never breathed a word about his stuff, or if he did I was too occupied by vodka-tonics and pounding music to recall. But I really think I would have remembered.

Oh, about the garden. I guess given our schedules it'll have to be some Sunday. Bummer that they're not open on Fridays & Saturdays.

I think that is because they are available for private events on those days...we might have to hold off on the visit, it will depend on when I go down to San Diego and how long I stay...
