Encouragement

I know I should be practising with the violin, but I just needed to write this.

I won't tell you the particulars about this matter right now, but my uncle is a VERY special person.
He's my godfather, and even though we don't live near, he has always taken care of me.

He does not call very often, however.

But he did call today.

He was talking to my mother, but he said to her: 'Tell Silvia that I love her.'

Mama told him to tell that to me, and she passed me the phone.

The conversation went on like this:

- Hi, uncle! How are you?

- Fine. And you?

- Nervous. I have a violin test today.

- Your mom told me. You'll do well.

- Well... *giggling* I hope so, because I cannot get to learn the songs yet and I am nervous because my classmates will be staring at me and...

- I know that you'll do well, because you are a very special girl. Trust me. You'll do well.

We talked a bit more about the weather, he told me that he loved me, I did the same, and then we said good-bye.

And then, I came back to my room, I grabbed the violin and I could play the song!!

It felt so nice! That kind of support and confidence in me made me feel more self-assured about my abilities. :D

So, thank you, uncle. And thank you to all the people who has encouraged me via Facebook and mobile phone.

Kisses!

love, música
