Locked to the Safehouses and Allies

It's really quite easy to forget these journals, isn't it?
So. Is there anything I can talk about that won't violate some oath or other?
Incidentally, I would like to remind whoever it was yesterday that the ink-spell is restricted to the Inkdarting field. Half my hair is now light pink. If I find who it was, you will find your own hair in a ( Read more... )

Resonance? Yes we know quite a lot

Indubitably!

We once met a fat lady singer who claimed to be able to break glasses just by singing.

It was fantastic!

Yes - we didn't believe it at first, thought it must be some sort of spell

But at home, Dad had this Muggle thing called a Grandma Phone

You put black flat circles on it, wound it up and sound came out of this huge horn.

It was brilliant

One of the black circle things made a lady sing, and we wondered if we could break glasses with it.

At first it didn't work

Then I cast a Sonorous on the horn thingy

I did too

And then I cast another one for luck

Me too

It was........spectacular

Brought the house down as they say

Well the plaster from the ceiling at any rate

Mum went mental

Mind you she did look funny with all that white dust all over her

Yes...still perhaps it would have been wiser not to laugh

True.....

...do you have a dual keysboard, or is there some game of typing-tennis going on here?

Excellent.
Although possibly we won't use records.

I was wondering if we can't make the train bring its own bridge down. If we can get some variation on Sonorous cast on the bridge, or on something we can stick to it at strategic points, it might be possible to amplify the vibration has the train comes closer/goes over, and the noise, to the point it would shake a rickerty construction apart.

Less obvious than just detonating something, perhaps.

Is it me, or does one of you have an oddly familiar use of language?

That's... interesting.

No records?

Hmm pity.

Still we see your point.

Apparently one can hear a train coming just by putting one's ear to the track

Perhaps with one of our "Extendable Ears" and, as you suggest a spattering of sonorous, we could set the old bridge shaking.

Or the tracks

Yes if they were leaping about all over the place, it's probably bring the whole thing down.

Indubitably!

Bringing down structures with music, while having a certain style, is probably best left as the preserve of Muggle TeeVee.

It'd certainly cause the train some problems.

Firstly, we need to see if this will work. Meet you at the Thorne Apparation point at two? I'll need to dig out some notes, but this sounds very do-able.

I caught a glimpse of you yesterday. You look ridiculous amusi like a muggle punk.
Yes, I am aware of what is a punk. I am not entirely sure why is a punk though.
Another mishap with exploding gel, yes?

A follicular lesson in assuming that first-years will have heeded any rules about where colouful ink should be fired.
Besides, the gel has mostly stopped exploding randomly. Plus, I duck better now.
