Happy belated Haloween!

Yes, Atkins, you were the only one who noticed my robes and ears were a bit different that evening. You can stop calling me Spock now, please.

In unrelated queries - does anyone have any spare moisturiser? I've been bathing in it, damn near run out. I can offer chill-chocolate in exchange.

It's interesting. And considering how deathly bored I was a few months ago, having a project is a welcome bit of mental exercise.

At the moment, for 'non-magical means' read 'throwing, or use of the novelty bow and arrow Diane has had since before she'd hit double digits'. Both have merit: a piercing action inserts the charmed arrow into the target - meaning the axis of spell activation which is a bit problematic is less important as it will hit something; and the throwing action -

- have you heard of grenades? They're a Muggle weapon, a handheld (and thrown) type of bomb, where the shrapnel does more damage than the actual explosion, for the most part. Since the use of stones as item[x] seems to lead to them exploding a lot, if the charm can be incorporated all the way through the stone, then the result is dessicating shrapnel moving very rapidly in different directions. So the piercing aspect is relevant again.
They are easily shielded against by object-repellers, but the bits move fast, so unless the shield was up first there's a fair chance that there woulnd't be much in the way of possible reaction time.

I might try the fruit.
Subjecting sheep to this probably wouldn't produce very edible results, and I have little urge to try and explain what on earth I'm doing to angry staff. Or incur the Wrath of MacMillan. I still don't think he's forgiven me for Uncle Dave's last package.

The Wrath of MacMillan! That is indeed a very scary thought.

As for the sheep - despite what you might have heard, I am not a sadist, Miss Archer. I was thinking more about using sheep that were already dead for the experiment. To see what would happen if you used this on flesh. I think the results might be very messy. Possibly explosive?

I have heard of muggle explosive weapons, though I did not know that they were called grenades.
Perhaps this weapon could be dropped from a height and targetted that way? I am thinking from a broom. Or would this affect the person who was carrying it?

I must ask you this. It is possible that you are working on something very powerful here. I can see possibly this being used as a weapon against other witches and wizards?
How does that make you feel?
