Private

Well, the journals seem to have calmed down. The Unibiquitos Rumour Mill is in full-production, of course. I'm quite glad I don't spend much time outside Thorne now - gaggles of gossiping, over-hyping stutents were annyoing enough before I knew anything extra, and now...

We seem to have a madwitch ghost. I'm surprised we don't have more new spirits running through, to be honest, but one who seems internet-savvy is less expected. As far as I know, she was the only one other than our illustrious Minister for Machiavellianism of his lot with a journal, but if anyone else - doubtless under many layers of protective clothing, lest the Muggleness rubs off - decided to invesitage a compwter...

I spoke to Carys about this, in a rather roundabout route. My grasp of Muggle technology failed me at 'firewall'. These things aren't usually literal, and the only things I could translate to seem very far away from computers. I'll have to try again when she's feeling more talkative.

She's worrying me. I'm assured she's recovered from the actual curses, but she doesn't move right. Hesitates, only for moments usually, and sometimes there's a look, like she half-expects something to break, or she's not sure where she is. She's stated that she can't remember what happened - but there are still sound-exclusing wards around the bed they've moved her to, and she's not worrying. That's odd. They've been dragged out of their lives, under various serious false accusations, and I don't know how we're going to get them back. She's not thinking about it, not about the house or her job, and that's not normal.

Dave won't talk about her, either. He's got more subtely than I'd have thought at changing conversation topics. I mean, he's physically fine - with one of the quickest recoveries from a Crucio that the medi-witch I overheard's ever seen - and this place doesn't phase him, but he's worried, and he won't tell me.

It's all getting very... cramped.
