Welly sewing bloggers
These ladies are a subset of the Wellington sewing bloggers, of which I am not one. Although I both sew and blog, I do not blog about sewing.
Every so often they set challenges, and this one was to make a something out of this teal silk/cotton blend which was on sale ($10/m IIRC) at one of our favourite local fabric stores. The garments were mostly finished in time for a potluck lunch plus photo shoot at Joy's place, although I did end up doing some quick and dirty finishing on her dress, managing to get the buttons on upside down, while she whipped up a chocolate mousse of doom. Fair trade, I reckon.
