“That’s the third robber this week,” Tina commented. She held out a hand to the man jerking on the floor. “Rik Hr Nisanti!”
He stilled abruptly. Robert grabbed his bag. “Very unoriginal.”
“Robert, get rid of him,” Tina snapped. She started toward the stairs.
He twisted a hand in the general direction of the robber. The man disappeared. Robert nodded, pleased.
“We’ll have to call our operatives in the LAPD in the morning,” he said.
“Yes,” she agreed.
He followed her up the stairs. Was too tired to think about the way her nightgown moved, or the sway of her hips, or how her hair fell and brushed her shoulders, or how her breasts moved in counterpoint to her strides.
“Tina.”
“What?”
“I have an idea…”
