Chase thought it was weird that his parents still went on dates. They fought every other day of the week, but on Saturday night, they buried the hatchet and went out.
Either way.
Tonight they were double-dating with the Wilders(even weirder) and Alex had been ditched at his place.
"Hey, man."
"Hey."
Janet stuck her head it.
"Okay. We’re going now. You boys know the rules. No drinking, no parties, no sacrifices in the living room. See you in a few hours. Have fun. We’ve counted both the beer and your father’s cigarrettes. Bye."
And she was gone.
"Weird," Chase commented.
"What, the fact that your parents still date, even when they’re feuding, or the fact that they’re going out with my parents?"
"The fact that they’ve started counting the beer."
