Why do people do this?
Those people who air their dirty laundry on livejournal or the like... personal stuff that I can't imagine they would openly admit.
So basically I stumbled onto some information that I certainly wasn't looking for when I googled someone's full name... Nothing all that surprising really, I just can't understand what this person was thinking to put this information in a place that can be accessed by anyone.
So whats the appeal? That someone will read about your sad, miserable life? Well if you want to vent thats fine I guess livejournal is a good a place as any. I mean I'm venting right now aren't I?
Not that it actually bothers me... its more like... what were you thinking?
Oh and the other thing that I don't understand...
What could a person gain from breaking into someones email address and changing the password so they can no longer get into their account? Definately nothing financial. Now that bothers me a bit.
Lesson learned though, don't make guessable passwords, or secret questions or anything.... Because you betcha the one possible person that knows your favorite pet's name will break into your account and change your password...
