GAH. I just finished The Passage by Justin Cronin and I am very upset about the ending. Like, that book is MASSIVE (766 pages) and it's taken me at least a month to get through it, and then it ends like that. *throws book* It did not feel worth it at all.
Next is probably either World War Z or Bridget Jones' Diary. I was going to read the new Rick Riordan book The Lost Hero, but
nuclearsugars started reading it at my place this past weekend, so I'll probably wait until she's done so that she can take it home.
Speaking of this past weekend, my mom was here visiting! It was so great, and she got to meet Sugars, which was awesome. And we mostly just relaxed and went shopping and eating, sometimes the 3 of us and sometimes with Uncle Scott and Wes, because it was Uncle Scott's 50th birthday. Other highlights included getting my phone upgraded to the iPhone 4, and buying
Kirby's Epic Yarn, the cutest and possibly gayest game ever. As rewards in the game, you get furniture to decorate your apartment, and fabrics and wallpapers so you can reupholster! And do I even need to explain the awesome of being MADE OUT OF YARN in a fabric landscape?
