I moved this weekend!
So I am now in a new apartment! Yesterday was the big move, my friend Scott came over and helped me along with his friend Tim, who is British (awesome). And later in the afternoon my Uncle Scott and his boyfriend Wes came and helped, too. Basically, it was long, it was stressful, and I kinda had a little breakdown because things weren't really going to plan during the early stages, but we got it all done, and we got everything into my tiny new place.
Some of you may not remember, but the place I was in before was pretty big, a one bedroom that was supposed to be for me and Gail, and priced accordingly. When that didn't work out, my parents basically helped me pay the rent for the rest of the year, so this time around I was looking for a studio that I could pay on my own. I found one, and I really like it, but it is really tiny. Also, the kitchen is shared with another housemate, but I think it'll be ok. She seems very nice, and very clean. Our fridge, however, is tiny. I might need to buy myself a mini-fridge. I also have a portable dishwasher from the old apartment that my dad bought for me, which I don't think I'll be able to use here, this place is just too small. I think its gonna have to just sit in storage in the closet till I move somewhere else. :/
And then today I finished up with the cleaning and the last little bits at the old place and was rewarded with yesterday's Merlin, which was so good! <3 the Arthur/Gwen stuff, it was shot so beautifully!
