Angel

I saw an Angel last night,
She looked at me with concern.
Told me it'll be alright,
For I could've died that night.

This angel was beautiful,
Her eyes as beautiful as the sky.
Her hair was wavy as the sea.
The color a beautiful sea green.

She held me close,
As though I would slip away
She bent down and kissed my head,
Shes the first to ever show me love.

She helped me to my room,
where I could rest for the night.
She stayed there all night,
Pleading me to get better.

When I awoke she wasn't there,
Was this all a dream?
I feel better now,
Did an angel really help me?

I got up, and got dressed,
For I had to go to school.
A place where I was alone,
Just as I am at home.

I walked through the main doors,
of the school.
I passed the office,
I see a girl in there.

I look at her for a moment. She's beautiful, like my angel.
Her sea green hair in beautiful waves,
Could this be her?

She turns my way. Our eyes meet for a moment,
She looks into my eyes and smiles,
I was right, I've found my angel.

I'm a monster.
