negative...
so right now i'm feeling really negative and cynical, and i'm going to write about it - so if you don't feel like reading it -DON'T. and it didn't help my mood that the Wild lost last night - blech!
right now i'm pretty sick of people. i'm sick of drunk people, i'm sick of people that are oblivious to what is going on around them, I'm sick of inconsiderate people, and i'm sick of people that steal. and while those categories don't include everyone in the entire world - I seem to have encountered a good amount of those people this week.
i think that maybe i wouldn't get so sick of them if i could understand the need to get drunk so you look cool, why people are so oblivious, why people are inconsiderate, and why people feel that it's ok to take other people's stuff.
i was thinking last night i'm always waiting for the next stage in my life, as if all of these people will suddenly disappear once i get there - of course this is not the case, but I still hope that some day people will mature to some level. i know its very unlikely, but if i don't have optimism about it i might go crazy and have to kill myself. (joking, people)
but now that i think about it, it could happen. i enjoy college much MUCH more than high school - as i HATED high school. so maybe i'll enjoy life after college much more than I'm enjoying college (it's not that i don't enjoy it - i love it, but like i said, maybe people will change).
but seriously, right now i think i would ok being a deserted island for a week without any human contact. maybe the lack of annoying people for awhile would make me some how appreciate them when i get back.
and don't get me wrong, it's not like i hate EVERYBODY. there are wonderful people in this world, and I know quite a few, but like i said, I've encountered a lot of the others this week. and even sometimes the wonderful people can act stupid.
