Softball memory
Last night we had another double-header, and it was so much fun! We've been having a great season so far; I think our overall is 5-3 or something. I had two great games, getting base hits every time at bat except once. I had a few runs, a few RBIs, and I got myself a nickname from one of the opposing teams. I was up at bat in one of the later innings, and the catcher said to her teammates, "Watch out for this one, guys. She can run. Little bat, big wheels!" At the end of the game when we went out to give the opposing team high fives and say "Good game," a few of them said to me, "Good running." I got that from the next team we played too. Joey (our coach) gave me the game ball; Veronica (who kept score) said that she was looking at the playbook and that I should definitely get the game ball; Chris was about to nominate me to get the game ball just before Joey handed it to me. It was such a great feeling.
