Truffle
Tonight my friend Sam helped me dye and highlight my hair. It was so much fun, and she did an awesome job. At first I was a little freaked out, because the color on my roots looked so light. I was afraid that it had gone brassy, which is typical when lightening dark hair. But after we dried my hair with the blowdryer, it ended up looking pretty good. And now that the initial shock has worn off, I actually love it. The base color is subtle and just a shade or two lighter than my original hair color. The highlights are also pretty natural looking, so I'm pleased with the overall results.
I used L'Oreal Couleur Experte in the shade of Truffle (medium ash brown). Maybe next time I'll try Spiced Chestnut (dark golden brown).
