(no subject)
Mom is in rehab for the week so me and Tommy have to fend for ourselves. We've basically been living like savages for the past few days. I made a disastrous attempt at cooking us breaded turkey nuggets just now. Guess I was frying at too high a temp because the bread burned but the meat wasn't cooked on the inside! I also ruined some steaks yesterday by using the wrong kind of marinade or something. I really need to learn how to cook, this is pathetic!
I bought a new computer~! So far it's working great but the monitor is bugging me. It's like...really wide so the picture is kind of skewed horizontally. I can't figure out how to fix it, I'm about to call these Geek Squad people.
I'm also having a hard time getting used to the keyboard. I'm so used to the old clunky crappy one that I keep hitting the wrong buttons cause I can't feel where my fingers are.
