brit tv is so fandom friendly, well that's a surprise!, what the hell am i doing with my time?, total future picspamming, i'm the world serious of seriousness, i really shouldn't ship this, they are so amazing you don't even know, sytycdance!

If you're itching for more international SYTYCD and if you want to watch SYTYCD: For Grown-Ups Part Deux, I would definitely recommend SYTYCD Canada (especially the second season). The dancers and dances are more mature (there is some material that I don't even think would make the US show), there are far fewer bullshit "story" dances, there is ACTUALLY HIP HOP, and there is a greater variety of styles. The only flaw is that the host stinks (that's so awesome that Cat is on the UK version as well).

This season of the US version really is a snooze. The choreography is so tired and I still can't tell these kids apart.

I did watch most of sytycd:ca last summer, then lost interest a little after top 10 - once Nathalie or Mackenzie were eliminated I think? CA always had more "adult" (*snort*) routines, and the quality of the dances were usually pretty high compared to the US - plus the range of dancers was better. On the negative side, the judges though were pretty useless - worse than the US, which was surprising - and the eliminations were usually really like, WTF?? people I thought would go further (Brie) were cut at like, top 18.

I wust watched this last week's episodes (top 14) and GOD I was SO. BORRRRRED. I don't care about any of them, and the amount of contemp/jazz is RIDIC (wtf Ryan/Ricki got a contemp/jazz AGAIN??? This is 3 IN A ROW.) I couldn't tell who ANYONE was in the group routines and the camera work is terrible which has seriously been taking away from the couple routines. Just UGH, i am so done with this season. Give me another UK one. How's the CA one shaping up?

They just picked the Top 22 so they haven't had their first performance show yet, but at least there's more variety in terms of contestants (five ballroom/salsa, 4 or 5 hip-hop, and the rest contemporary which isn't too bad). I agree about the judges, but I usually watch clips on YouTube so I skip the judges' commentary.
