The injuries this season were OUT OF CONTROL, but I still think the dancers (aside from Alex, Ashley and Billy) would have been mediocre at best. Over at TWOP people were speculating as to whether this season's "Top 11" would even measure up to past season SECOND string dancers.. and pretty much everyone agrees that yeah, but just about. If it had a been a Top 20 (and the judges actually cast mature dancers), I don't think half the kids this season would have survived to Top 10. My horse was out of the race as soon as Ashley fractured her rib, and while I have a mild interest in Robert, he's been inconsistent and I'm constantly up and down with him. And Kent is just ugh - he looks and acts like he's 12. Not interested. And Lauren is fine, but boring. I can't even really be all that upset about hte obvious bussing of Adechike b/c I didn't love him all that much either - aside from his "Fallin'" routine with Comfort, the piece with Kent and his last jazz with Courtney.

THANK GOD FOR KATHRYN AND ADE (I almost added Mark, but he's been MIA a lot of the season, and didn't really even stand out in the past couple of group routines).

I agree that had it been a Top 20, the majority of these dancers wouldn't have even cracked the top 10. Jose was atrocious, Robert is good but wildly inconsistent, Kent is a fetus, I didn't think Adechicke should have even made the show let alone come in fourth (though the busing of him was ridiculous), and Billy was never quite able to master other styles. Fail, season, fail. I miss Alex. I hope he can come back for a "real" season.
