Things that suck:
* The position that I interviewed for and really kinda wanted to get being put on “hold” status - meaning they’ve decided to keep that position vacant for the time being. Super.
* Having to start searching/applying for MORE random jobs.
* Apartment hunting.
- 1st apartment: The realtor's "master key" didn't work, so we couldn't go in.
- 2nd apartment: The "show apt" was evidently occupied. And the realtor didn't have the number for the people currently living in the apartment that was actually for rent, so we just showed up - and lets just say the tenant and her obnoxious kid weren't all that cooperative.
- 3rd apartment: The realtor couldn't find the key to get in. Then she proceeded to spend 10 minutes with her office on my friend's phone (because she forgot hers), trying to figure out if they had even given her the key of if she had just lost it. A minute after she hangs up and searches her car again, she finds the key wedged between the seats.
- 4th apartment: Nice, but way too damn far from the T.
- 5th apartment: 3rd floor, completely cramped, and totally not worth the asking price.
All in all, the apartment I found myself and had direct contact with the landlord about went the smoothest with no issues, and was the nicest (and cheapest) one that we've seen. But yeah, it was a loooong evening.
Things that kinda suck but shouldn't:
* Getting an interview for a job that’s in a field I totally want to get out of.
* The official
trailor for the premiere of Moonlight - without Jason.
Things that decidedly do NOT suck:
*
Ugly Betty + Mika = INCREDIBLY SUPERBLY FANTASTICNESS
* Roadtripping across the state/boozing it up at friends’ engagement party/camping out on said friends’ lawn this coming weekend
* My Icon :D *pets icon* *repeats to self: heslegalheslegalheslegal* (to attempt to erase "ick" factor)
* Beating the system.
