Imagine my surpise and complete glee when, driving home last night, one of the local radio stations started playing Feist! The station isn't a Top 20 station or anything - it's kind of a mishmash of music, and it often plays a lot of unknown or up-and-coming artists - but definitely a fave

Aida is an incredibly. AMAZING musical about a strong, Nubian princess who gets captured by the (unknowing)Egyptians and battles with the responsibilty and expectations of her people, who are also enslaved, that look to her to help them rise up and regain their freedom.

It's a very intense role, with a lot of fire, passion and strength, and Beyonce would just fall so incredibly FLAT.

That sounds like something I'd really enjoy! And definitely something that Beyonce should not be allowed to touch with a ten-foot pole!

Yeah, if this thing ever gets made into a movie (which I really hope it doesn't), I'd want her as FAR AWAY as possible.

And yeah, I think you'd really like it. It's go struggle, strife, romance, humor, tears, and a great soundtrack - everything that makes a pretty kickass musical.

i listened to this song you posted and i like it:) i ahve to find more her songs.

it's not that bad;) I myself created account there two weeks ago. It's real fun! It's all about music, you downlaod a programme last.fm and it remembers what songs you listen to and then create statistics, what you like the most during this week, or in the whole time. What artists you like the most etc. you can have friends there and you have neighbours, who have similar taste of music. you can find there some information about artists, find artists who are similar to these one you like and many more. I also don't know every possibilities there, but from what i know it's really cool.:) And you can get to know more great artists.
