So let's get to the point...
So this post is gonna be a tad random and probably a little rambly. It's basically a conglomeration of a bunch of different posts I've wanted but didn't have the chance to make over the past couple of days, so I decided to unite them all into one big super post.
Issue One:
Tonight's top story in this second edition of Crazy Ass News: Down because all that drug smuggling is putting a serious dent in your bank account? Move to the Netherlands! There, any money you spend to smuggle drugs in and/or out of the country is considered a tax write-off.
It's TAX DEDUCTABLE!
A Dutch court ruled that a fisherman convicted of smuggling drugs can deduct the cost of buying and shipping hashish on his tax return. Although pot IS illegal, you can carry up to an ounce without getting arrested. Me'thinks that judge put a bit of a dent in his own ounce before he heard the case.
Also, in the small town of Riverhead, NY - or it might not be small, I don't know, it sounds like a small town - a woman who's boyfriend was charged with attmpeting to contract a hit on her testified in HIS DEFENSE at his trial. According to her, she loves him, she's there for him, and they're still boyfriend/girlfriend. She even keeps visiting him even though he was ordered to stay away from her. Ah, love.

Issue Two:
Also in yesterday's Herald (I love this paper more and more every day lol), in honor of Easter, an online PEEPS poll (you know, those sugary marshmallowy candies that look like baby chicks and get put out for Easter?) asked fans which celebrities they thought most resembled a Peep.
Will Ferrell and Jessica Simpson won the top honors for Male and Female Celebrity most resembling a Peep.

Turns out most people thought that George W. and Britney Spears are both in dire need of the sunshiney little candy. Apparenly, the sugary sweetness of a Peep has magical healing powers.

And did you know that Justin Timberlake is going to record a song with her?? Hi there pity project!
Issue Three:
Working in a law office is not at all conducive to catching up on the f-list. I'm gonna try and do some of that tonight but will probably end up doing most of it this weekend.
Issue Four:
I randomly listened to Coldplay on my way into work this morning, and got inspired to make like, 3 Ryan and or Ryan/Taylor vids.... But don't get too excited Townwood fans - I'm gonna be bringin' the angst (when I get around to actually making them, that is)
Issue Five:
I thought I had been doing something that made me look like an idiot, but when I went to apologize and rectify it, I ended up looking like the idiot that I never looked like in the first place. Way to make an impression. Hand, meet face.
Yeah, that was fun - both the list and the earlier humilation.
ETA: Oh, and I have yet to see this week's FNL. Was it as good as the preview made it out to be?
