fashion issues

So I've been on a total online shopping binge this past week. Blame it on exams & the fact I'm pretty much housebound revising (or not revising, as the case may be), but I just can. not. stop. I'd also like to hold summer sales culprit!

Anyway, some of my purchases:

This is a dress from urban outfitters which i ADORE. It's so swishy & uber flattering & chic. Also, the back is awesome (altho causing me some problems - see below).

♥ this cardigan (also from UO) - it's slightly see through when you hold it up to light & drapes very nicely. i especially like how it automatically gives a little bit of sophistication to whatever i'm wearing (i paired it with a strap top and cropped trousers yday).

Yellow dress from joebrowns. Yeah, I know, I wasn't sure about the yellow either, but I figured it was ok for hot countries/summer days. It is pretty in real life, although I'm still a bit wary about the colour.

from joebrowns - lovelovelove. back is soooo pretty & it's this interesting vaguely see through material which makes it a perfect cover-up type thing for the beach.

OMG TV NECKLACE. it's from me & zena and it is one of the coolest things ever. end.

So yeah, clothes are nice BUT:

The issue I am currently having is that the backs on both dresses are low enough to show the band on my bra. This is ugly/ annoying/trashy. Going braless is not an option - weirdly shaped 36Ds (yes tmi) need to be supported & pushed up to look good. I've googled backless bras but I'm not sure if they're going to work....

It's annoying because I always have this issue, especially with urban outfitters. The clothes are great but the fit is never completely right - it's either too tight around the bust or too long in the straps (which the black one kinda is, which means if i don't pull it down slightly at the front then the zip bit is too loose and bends out a bit. I mean, I know UO is designed for thin, tall model-girls, but if you're going to SELL size 12s then at least make sure they FIT a size 12!

/end rant.

if i have time tomorrow i'll post some pics of me wearing a bunch of the above and some other clothes i like.

:)

in unrelated news, i've got into bigbrother this year. i know, shameful.

fashion, shopping, style, tagging stuff is fun, omfg clothes, clothes, photos
