Frustrated: another rant
So some "friends of the family" (family meaning my parents and sister) are coming to visit this weekend and the house is a mess. Surprise surprise. I had the living room clean but it's piled high with papers and magazines and boxes of junk again. My parents said "we need to get the house picked up before the niatis get here." but they're not here. My dad's over at Becky and Clarks helping install something for them, which doesnt bother me, and my mom is who knows where. She got off at 4 but I havent seen her yet today. They were both home last night and no one cleaned. My dad was home earlier but he was working on church paperwork, not cleaning. I've spent the past hour and a half washing the dishes because our dishwasher broke and people kept piling dishes up in the sinks. Before that I spent over an hour cleaning the bathroom compleatly. And before that I cleaned my stuff out of the living room to see if I could make any difference in there and I gathered up all the trash and took it out. I'm just so frustrated that they arent here helping me when they're the ones that want it cleaned.
I don't mind cleaning and helping out around here, I mean after all I'm still technically living here and I do make some of the dishes and mess. But I also clean up after myself. I realize they both work full time, and this past week my dad's had to go in every morning by 3 to calibrate machines so when he gets home at 2pm he's tired and needs to rest, so I don't mind helping them out with some stuff, but it's gotten to the point where i'm the only one that cleans, literally. It doesnt look so great now because I dont know where to put their stuff, because they dont know where to put it, it's just very frustrating. I'm sore and tired and grouchy and I just would appriciate some help with cleaning every now and then.
sorry for ranting, it's just one of those days.
