(no subject)
So basically I had this prop bet from a few months ago with my roomate. We went to a Patriots game a few months back, and they had this field goal challenge at halftime. Basically they pick out like 3 random people to attempt a 20 yard field goal. I told Mike I could easily kick a 20 yard field goal. I used to have a really good kick when I played soccer in high school. He dismissed that had any indication about if I was capable of kicking a field goal. Also worth noting, I have never attempted a field goal up until the day we attempted the actual bet.
Finally we got around to doing this a couple weeks ago. I talked him into getting 10 attempts, at even money. I honestly couldn't believe he was giving me this. Initially I believe we agreed on $400, but he refused to acknowledge that and was firm that it was $300. Anyways, here are the pictures and video. Needless to say of course I kicked it within the 10 attempts (I did it on the 4th attempt). I then attempted a 30 and 40 yard field goal and nailed those as well. I like free money!
