Why do bad things happen to good people?
This morning as i was leaving the house, my mom was like, do you know him (pointing to the newspaper). i looked at him and realized it was Clarence Boyd, one of the volunteer parents at CHamp. It turns out that on saturday he drowned. Clarence worked security at CHamp because sadly, we need it. cars are robbed and people are shot in that neighborhood so Clarence would look out for us and the kids. He was such a sweet person and raised his two kids by himself while also helping out the church and his neighborhood. he was such a good role model for these kids, and they need someone like that. when my mom told me i bawled for like 20 minutes straight. and whenever i think about it i cry. because clarence was such a good guy and now his sons, who he loved very very much, are orphaned. why did this have to happen?
