My Halloweekend
I returned home for the weekend after three weeks up in Dublin. I have to admit I got quite homesick in the third week so I knew it was time for me to return home and gather myself. It was a fantastic weekend. On Friday I headed back to Offaly on the train and ended up sitting across from a guy in my college that I met at a LGBT meeting. Had a brilliant talk with him about contemporary art, films and books. Then when I had finally reached base, my dad and I visited these hippies that are camped in my local area in protest about trees being cut down. We talked and I played a few songs, it was pretty cool. The next night I went out to the pub to meet some old school friends. I hadnt seen some in ages and one of the guys gave me such a huge hug that he lifted me off the ground! :P Oh did I mention I was dressed as a vampire?

It was just a regular night of trying to eat women in leopard print dresses etc.

and I also tried to take a chunk out of Zorro

Then I met Chewbacca which was epic!
All in all a pretty good night and a good catch up with friends.. :)
On Sunday I went to church for the first time in two years. It was.. interesting but so nice cause I got to meet some old friends. Its funny how you never realise how much you miss people until you see them again.. The reason I went was because my brother was getting baptized and I know it was really important for him that we were there.
Being away in college is quite hard in ways because I really do miss my friends and family so much. :( I stayed in my best friend's house last night and played boardgames.. just shows how old I'm getting.. :P We talked a lot and she's finding living away from home really tough too.. We're now on opposite sides of the country so we only see each other once every two or three weeks. It kinda sucks.
So now I'm on the bus back to Dublin, and I was bored so I said I'd do what I do best.. Talk about myself.. I am now deciding what to dress up as tonight.. My housemate made a costume last year and said I can borrow it. It's based on the Leggo Batman game and its the Penguin.. It just means I have to wear a cardboard box over my head... Im not exactly mad about that idea... Decisions Decisions.. I already wore my Old Gregg costs so I dunno..
