Oh my head...
If you remember my last post, I talked about trying to find a mannequin head called "P6," which seemed to be discontinued. (see user icon for this post)
Soon, the only entries I could find for that photo were Alibaba entries for factories in China. I could get myself a P6, sure, if I could find 99 other friends who wanted one, too. Right.
So I found something similar on Amazon; a model from HairArt, numbered 66500.
I thought maybe the original P6 image was distorted some, and that this one might be pretty close.
But my money was refunded. Out of stock.
Tried it on Ebay. Twice. Money refunded. Twice.
Even tried the much paler version 66400. Refunded. Out of stock.
YOU CAN STILL FIND THESE DAMN THINGS LISTED, BUT NO ONE HAS ONE. Why?
So I went back to my other Head Haunts, and put in an order for this one:
Not quite the same, but the attitude is there.
I was told it was out of stock, but backordered.
I was then sent this head by mistake.
Yeah, that's...even close.
I order from my next reliable place....refund. One by one, each place I check...out of stock.
This is getting personal.
In the middle of this search, I order this from Amazon on a whim. Just for the hell of it, really. There's no model number on it. I figure I can maybe fix the makeup and kind of get a P6 out of it. If they even have it.
It. Actually. Shipped. The box arrived today.
