If Widmore loved the island so much, why did he frequently leave it and have a child with a woman who didn't live on the island?

-ANSWER: I'm sure we'll get that knowledge eventually.

At what point did all the women start dying during pregnancy?

-ANSWER: Maybe it has something to do with Jughead being on the island?

What use does the island have for Ben since it let him live?

-ANSWER: Punishment probably. Ben, most likely, expected the Smoke Monster to kill him. He was given an even worse fate - having to be a follower.

What's in the box the new castaways have? And what the hell crawled up the new Kate's ass? i'm not even going to bother learning their names. (But i think it's Iliana?)

-ANSWER: Some have theorized Widmore is in the box... others have guessed it has something to do with finding Jughead. I'm sure it'll be a major plot point going towards the finale.

When/how is Desmond (w/ Penny and Charlie?) going to come back to the island?

-I believe we get more Desmond in the upcoming Daniel episode (5.14, which takes place on 4/29/09 - two weeks after 5.13)

Where the hell is Faraday?
-See the above answer

When/how did Ethan join the Others? The incident, perhaps?
-Well, this season's finale is called The Incident. We might find out then. Most likely, The Others killed the parents and kept the children during the purge.

Why does Jacob look so normal? (Pic of him in Entertainment Weekly)
-No idea yet, but I'm sure we'll get a boat load on Jacob in the finale.

Is Claire still alive? Is she stuck in the 70s too?
-I'm under the belief that Claire is dead (She returns for season 6) or in a state of limbo... much like Christian.

Are the 815 survivors going to survive "the incident?"
-I have a feeling they are the cause of "The Incident", and Jughead might be involved as well.

If the Egyptians built the Temple and the island is somewhere in the South Pacific, wouldn't that have been a really long journey, assuming it's as old as they want us to believe? It's not like they had planes back then. Although, there were countless explorers who made epic journeys. Still, it seems like an awfully long way to go just to build a temple.
-ANSWER: Well, we do know the exit point for the island is Tunisia, which is basically right down the road from Egypt. The island has and can move in the past, so we don't know where it was originally.

Overall, i thought tonight's episode was really good. Much better than recent episodes.

And now we know why Ben is so cut and bruised.

I guess i keep thinking that the island moves through time but remains geographically in the same place. But it does actually move so i guess it could have been much closer. And i always forget that it exits in Tunisia. Which is another point. Tunisia isn't exactly in the Arctics yet Ben needed that huge winter coat when he left the island? Maybe he didn't know where it was going to exit.

Ben needed the jacket because the chamber that housed the wheel was frozen. Also, a desert at night can get extremely cold.

Oh yeah... one more thing... I wouldn't be shocked to see Locke rocking the eyeliner sooner rather than later. He already has an ancient Egyptian vibe with the bald head.

I can definitely see locke with the eyeliner. Was the chamber frozen when locke went in it and i just don't remember?

Locke turned the wheel after Ben had chipped away the ice and all, plus he turned it during a period in the island's past.
