Well, the bad news is that I have a disc bulge in my back... the good news there is what it's not.. it's NOT a slipped disc.. that would have been a bitch.. but, with the disc bulge I'm not supposed to run for 8-10 months.. that sucks (although I still play summer league ultimate frisbee.. shhhhhhh) I couldn't run a mile at the gym without being in excruciating pain.. so that sucked.. but my doctor told me to use an elliptical... so I used it today for the first time.. 5 and a half miles in 45 minutes... can anyone tell me what they think of the elliptical? Any success with it? It's not as good as running, but I'm just happy I can do it without being in pain. Better than nothin. Anyways, let me know what your workout experience with the elliptical was/is.. thanks.
