When: Monday night, around 8pm

But right now, for once, he was not in the mood to grab a bucket and start bailing. He looked very much like a person who lived in mud and hadn't been bathed, ever, and he trudged through the water like it was molasses. When he got to the counter, he spat or coughed water into his dirty sleeve, and said "drain cleaner".

"I'm sorry, what did you say you wanted? Is that a kind of espresso?" she asked naively.

She emerged from the room awkwardly carrying what appeared to be a heavy jug of drain cleaner. Slipping a bit on the wet floor, she hauled it over to the counter and clunked it down.
"What size would you like that ... drain cleaner ... sir? Tall, Grande, or Vente?"

"That will be... um..." She stared at the cash register for a moment. After glancing at the stack of empty cups behind the counter, and then back at the jug, she tapped some buttons on the keypad.
"Seventeen fifty four," she read aloud, proud of her honed problem-solving ability.

"I have been trapped in a well for the past week," he explained. "The flood water washed me out. I apologize for the confusion, but thank you very much for the help"
He fished in his pockets for the money. Along with mud, he was able to produce 20.00 in change, which was the entirety of the profits from his lemonade stand. He put it all on the counter in a pile.
