With the school year over and Summer school not yet in session, Parakarry had more free time so he decided to take a walk before going to the post office.

He passed by a crowd, of several different races native to the Mushroom Kingdom. Parakarry didn't recognize anyone in specific until he noticed one individual in a red hat and overalls.

"Wait...It couldn't be." He tilted his glasses and was soon surprised.

"M..MARIO!?"

Mario looked up from the paper when he heard his name was being called, and was greeted by none other than his old buddy, Parakarry. He hadn't spoke to him in a while, and it was a nice surprise to see him in the city. A smile came upon Mario's face as he began to walk over to the paratroopa.

"Parakarry, how-a are you?"

"Mario!" Parakarry cried out joyfully as he floated over to the approaching plumber. "It's been a few years, hasn't it? How have you been?"

He laughs before speaking. "Yes, it'sa been a while! I've-a been doing pretty good, how have you been holding up?"

"I've been doing well too. Despite it being a bit more...well...busier than Toad Town, the past few months I've been living here have gone rather well."

He gave a smile. "What brings you here? Another adventure, correct?"

"Well uh," he started, a little embarrassed that he's even taking a vacation alone. Normally he would be out saving the Mushroom Kingdom or something. "I'ma actually on vacation..."

"Vacation?" Parakarry asked curiously.

"Well I can't say you don't deserve it. Everyone needs a break once in a while and I'm certain you would need one as well seeing you've saved our kingdom countless of times."

"Well.. I wouldn't say countless-a times. I-a just do what I can." He says, being his usual modest self.

"Regardless, I hope you have an enjoyable time here." replied Parakarry.

"You know, Goombario's living here now too. Perhaps the three of us should get together some time for old time's sake while you're here..." suggested Parakary before adjusting his glasses a bit more bashfully. "...That is if it's not too much trouble. I'm sure he would be happy to see you."

"That-a sounds like a great idea, Parakarry. I look forward to it!"

Parakarry nodded. "I better be going to the Post Office now. My shift's about to start soon."

He pulled out a notepad from his mailbag and began to write an address and phone number down before ripping the piece of paper out and handing it it to Mario.

"If you ever need anything or just happen to be around the neighborhood... don't hesitate to to stop by."

He takes the paper and carefully folds it as he puts it in his pocket.

"I-a won't, Parakarry. You take care!" He said waving goodbye to his old friend. He wondered who else he would meet here. This seemed to be a much more popular city than he thought.
