Meanwhile, in the city, Kamek was just staring at the giant contraption with a bewildered look on his face. Not that he wasn't used to seeing oversized machines, but this one just appeared out of nowhere. And it was heading in his direction, too. Whatever will he do?

Kamek sidestepped out of the way. Yeah, it wasn't going all that fast, so he didn't even have to teleport to avoid getting run over. Whatever that piece of work was for, it probably had nothing to do with him. And that was just fine and dandy. He continued to stare, wondering if it would start shooting lasers too, before putting it out of his mind and going on with his business.

Fawful was on his way back to the storehouse, looking at all the beer special signs for St. Patrick's day. He hasn't been plotting anything as of recent, just dealing with Cackletta being his teacher and feeling like his life has fallen backwards from it!

And with Rajani's collected power lost when the headgear got smashed... He was just at another great loss.

He wasn't exactly down at the moment. Whenever he doesn't think about these things, he's enjoying city life for what he could get out of it. He was dressed more casual these days, wearing a hooded sweater and another pair of glasses because seriously... The great evil Mastermind Fawful? Going to school and drooling over Gelato from the Gelateria like a stupid baby? That's nonsense you speak of!

But he felt the ground shake, which caused the bean to lose his balance and drop his gelato to the ground...

And that was when he saw this massive contraption...

The Mad Grinder stopped right in front of Fawful, but not recognizing the bean as machines tend to go for exact matches in the appearance department, it began rolling again. The Pawns moved alongside it, wielding their blasters.

Better dive out of the way before it crushes you!

Robotnik deals with Tails

Robotnik descended from the Carrier with his Eggpod, carrying an odd device on the bottom of it. He was going towards where he last saw the fox-boy and his little bi-plane - he wasn't going to let Tails mess with his plan, and by all means, he'd do something about it.

Watch out, Tails, he's coming for you!

Tails was working on the Cyclone, fixing it up to help with the rounds about the city. After that announcement, he had been on alert.

"Sonic and Knuckles are not here...I have to keep Eggman busy until then..." He muttered to himself as he pulled himself out from under the bi-plane and stood up. He wiped his forehead and then climbed into the front seat/his current bed, putting the wrench away, un aware of what was heading his way.

Meanwhile, Fawful had to flee back to his base for a change of clothes, the headgear, and his hovering platform. JUST YOU WAIT, GRINDING THING!

Battle the Mad Grinder!

((OOC: Robotnik will likely speak through Mad Grinder while it's being attacked, just so you guys know.))

Mad Grinder kept rolling along the streets, watching as the humans and other creatures ran off the streets in fear. It paid them no mind, having a mission to accomplish. Multiple Egg Pawns accompanied it, but it seemed to not care when one or two tripped and got caught under its roller. They were only a distraction.

Cresselia, however, wasn't about to let this being kill innocents.

She flew right in front of her, knowing that she'd only be at full strength in this form and not her human form. Perhaps others would see her, but as long as they didn't know she was Cecilia... maybe this one time would be fine?

You must cease in your assault, She attempted to telepathically speak. I do not want to fight you, but you could potentially harm many innocent people.

Unfortunately for Cressy, Mad Grinder was a robot and could not hear telepathic speak. It did, however, cause a grinding noise to be send through the transmitter and Robotnik on the other side nearly threw his headset away.

"WHO IS MAKING THAT RACKET!?" can be heard coming out of a speaker on the Mad Grinder.
