Slowly, Darkrai began to awaken. If it had a voice in this form, it would have groaned a little as it did so. As it was, it took the Pokemon's vision awhile to clear, not quite aware of itself yet.

Fawful was affixing the portal hose of his headgear to the machine, but the tiny bean was a huge weakling that couldn't get it tightened all the way!

If only he had his brute minion...

He was too distracted to look back at that moment, especially if was silent where his guests are, but the struggles caused him to break the silence by grunting with each attempt to turn the wrench. "Furu... furu... furu..."

Cresselia also began to awaken, but didn't do so as silently. She gave out a soft croon, blinking as her vision slowly returned to her. What had just happened?

... And what was this cupcake? That was just odd. She paid no mind to that, but quickly attempted to send her friend a telepathic message. However, she was feeling a little weak, so it didn't sound as clear.

Darkrai... Are you alright?

At the sound of the Lunar Pokemon's voice in her mind, Rajani snapped to attention, looking over at Cresselia. Well, at least she'd found her. ... seem to be.

...you are unharmed?

The grapple lost its grip and Fawful fell on top of Rajani, who kept him from falling on concrete flooring!

He had her cornered!

Okay, so maybe he can't these two into the tanks unless he manages to knock them out again, so he has to hope the old-fashioned way works

One of his little green hands clung to the darkrai. An evil grin stretched across his face, and a finger to his other was on the button to his remote control that activates the headgear's mouthpiece, which is now directly pointed at her face.

"Now is when you witness my headgear sucking!"

And with the button pressed, the mouth of the headgear reached over and grabbed whatever compensated for the darkrai's forehead and worked its power-sapping.

The next thing Fawful would hear would be a bullet just barely missing his body, plunging itself in a wall just behind him and Darkrai. It came fast, and perhaps none of the three would have expected it. Or... maybe at least Fawful would have? Maybe not? Who knows.

Whatever the case, the source of the bullet stepped into the room, gun at ready and pointed straight at the green being's head threateningly.

Goose furrowed his brow, growling a harsh, "Get away from her. Now."

Darkrai's strength being quickly sapped by the machine, it tried to send Goose a telepathic mesage, but it came out very weak: N-...eave... now...

with the headgear's hose still grappled to his guest, Fawful spun around and punched the gun off of Goose's hands- the force triggered a dark pulse attack to blast from his fist.

And now, a moment between a Janie and her Goose.

Slowly, the Pokemon began to regain consciousness, and slowly raised its claws into its field of vision. There was little else it could do as it tried to collect itself.

Goose was in his kitchen, whipping up an instant, shush he can't cook soup. Poor Rajani needed something to lift her strength back up, and food was usually very necessary, as well. Had she even eaten while she was with Fawful? How long was she there?

He finally came into the room, only to see her with her claws raised up. Huh. She was awake then, wasn't she?

"... Janie?"

Darkrai started at the voice, before realizing it was just Goose. Goose? Wait, why was he here? ...where was here? The last thing it remembered was fighting against the one that kidnapped Cresselia and itself. Where was Cresselia? What had happened? So many questions...

...wh... It tried to ask him, but its telepathy was too weak. If only it had that pendant which let it become human...

"Eh? What?" Goose heard a faint noise from her, but nothing else. Was she unable to talk to him? That was a bit of a dilemma. Hmmm...

Then he had it! He reached for one of the drawers in the room and yanked out a very familiar pendant. He stepped over to Rajani's bedside, handing it over to her. "Here. Eh, if ya can."
