Day: Friday the 4th Time: 1am Eavesdropping?: Stay out of this, Goose, erm- No.
Leon was having a night to himself around the city, as with his teammates always gone, he doesn't exactly have a "hey let's hang out-" type of buddy to hang out with. On the other hand, Club Sugar was more for the dancey-types and drinking himself silly at a bar just didn't appeal to him these days. Or maybe it would have if he gave it a go.
So instead, Leon takes small jobs. Tonight, he was transporting an small, illegally-imported case of Bacchus's Wine to a black market. And to get more accustomed to working in his disguise, he was pulling this off in his human form.
Crate in his arms, he was running down the streets. If anyone were on the streets tonight, they'd probably be too drunk to care.
...or maybe not. Rajani had noticed Leon running around from afar; he seemed suspicious. Like he knew he was doing something wrong.
Rather than approach him directly, she decided to simply follow from a distance. Even if it was none of her business, she couldn't help but be curious.
Leon stopped to look around. These streets were pretty clear. Usually he can tell if he's being followed, but if anyone's following him right now, it's probably not close enough to him.
Oh yeah, definitely suspicious. Rajani started to follow closer. It may not have been the more cautious route, but maybe she could at least figure out what the man was up to.
Hearing the slightest sound of footsteps made it clear to Leon that he was being followed, or someone was nearby.
Probably by a drunk who's going to beg for this crap. He had to wonder what was so special about import booze from Ivalice, but did others know what he was exactly carrying?
Rajani stopped a little after Leon did, though staying out of sight. If he was listening to her footsteps, they sounded a little more refined than a drunkard's might. Man, the whole "sneaking around like a creeper" thing was easier when she didn't have legs.
still human, ignore the iconcreeperpokemonSeptember 7 2009, 00:47:41 UTC
...And she resumed stalking following once more. But she was only a short distance from him now; she might have been seen if Leon was paying close enough attention.
In fact, she was rather sophisticated-looking. Who knew such people actually existed around here!
Slowly but surely, he smiled. It could be looked at as a smile of being attracted to a beautiful lady which could be followed by a pickup line... But really, he was thinking, Oh boy! Intelligent life!
At least it's something he could hope for!
He held up the crate in front of them. "I'm just making an overnight delivery! Are you new to the police force?"
Rajani wasn't sure what to think of that smile, but she shook her head in responsed to Leon's question. "...I am not a member of the police force, no."
...i'm starting to think she just needs more human icons in generalcreeperpokemonSeptember 8 2009, 02:36:43 UTC
She narrowed her eyes. Leon seemed relieved to learn that she wasn't a member of the police force...why? Ah well, he didn't seem to be doing anything too threatening, so she'd let him go for now. "...go ahead, then."

Likely not.
He stopped and waited to see who was out there.

He gave a mental shrug and started to walk more casually down the boulevard.
