(no subject)
I have all this week off which although will be absolute bliss, I know it will fly by incredibly quickly. Especially if, like today, I spend it in bed doing absolutely nothing. Hopefully, the weather tomorrow will improve and I can enjoy some London sunshine!! I'm heading home on Wednesday and staying up in sunny Yorkshire until Sunday. My mum wants me to go through all of my stuff back home..... dunno whether I'm dreading it or looking forward to it. I might end up finding some hidden treasures in the loft! My sister, Shona messaged me on Facebook earlier and suggested we do something like shopping or a seaside trip which would be lovely.
I don't know if I ever really mentioned my sister much in here. We never really used to get along, especially when I first moved out to uni. We fought like cat and dog in the holidays, but after I came back from my year in Germany and France, we both seemed to have grown up. I'm 23 and she's now 20 and that three year gap seems to have massively shrunk. It is really nice though as, no-one else quite gets you the same as your family. My little brothers are growing up crazily fast too. I have an alarmingly similar music taste to my 12 year old brother, Jordan. In fact, we're alarminly similar in lots of way as everyone seems to keep pointing out!

Anyhoooo.... I don't know what brought all that on! In other news, my weekend was awesome! I was in an incredibly bad mood Friday as I was let down by a complete arsehole (a guy I was, as much as I hate to say it "casually sleeping with" at uni. Of course, I fell for him....) although Saturday morning came around and I realised it was definately a good thing we didn't meet up. I CANNOT get involved in all that again.
Saturday, I headed over to Romford with Vicky to get my haircut. If she recommends a friend, she gets 50% and after a couple of bad experiences in central London, i was willing to try anything! Anyway, I love it!! It's not loads different, shorter, a few more layers. It's just cut A LOT better!! I am having serious trouble getting it to look as good as in the hairdressers but isn't that always the case?? After the hairdressers, we had a trip round the shops and I bought the below -tshirt. It was bought with the intent to wear it that night, but it looked slightly too grungy/casual. I still love it though!! I got some lush earrings too. I put them straight onto the credit card.... hhhmmm probably not such a great idea but oh well!!

Saturday night we went back to what is, fast becoming my favourite nightout in London, matter @ the 02 arena. Pendulum were doing a DJ set and it was awesome!! The crowd went mad when they played Slam and Propane Nightmares including me and Vik lol!! I was throwing some massive shapes much to the amusement of the boys next to us! I wanted to hear Tarantula as that's my personal fave but they either didn't play it or played it before we got in there. I really, really, really wanna see them live now. The night was kinda ruined when some idiot decided to jump off the stage and fall on top of Vik. Fortunately, she wasn't badly hurt. Some people are really such knobs!
Yesterday, I went to see the new flat!! Exciting stuff!! It's still pretty bare, no carpets or furniture and still needs painting but will be awesome to get in there! I miss running in and out of my mates room for every little dilemma, shoe borrowing or happy moment!
