Sofas
Last year I bought a sofa from SofaSofa. They're double-plus good at that sort of thing. And they're having a whomping great sale again, on till Monday next. So. If you like:
a) buying things to sit on, some of which fold into things you can sleep on
b) not spending overmuch money (they just sell online, so they don't have shop overheads)
c) scatter cushions called Chutney
...I heartily point you in their direction. They're having an exhibition day in Hammersmith on Sunday, so you can go test their wares with your bums, watch couples arguing ("I thought YOU were bringing the tape-measure, Janet") and talk about square pouffes to your little hearts content.
Bonus fact: the extremely Welsh delivery men who got my whopper of a settee into my living room had but one question, having tramped through a house made primarily of books and toys, and that was "what IS happening, here?"
