the show Favourite characters or pairings on Life: I love Reese the most I think, and Charlie and Ted are tied at a very close second. I like Crews/Reese in fandom, though in the show I just want them to remain the BEST. PARTNERS. EVER. When/how you first started watching the show: Right after season one aired, a friend had 'em all tivoed.
other loves Other fandoms? Currently: Merlin, in a sick brain consuming way. I also pop in and out of the Doctor Who (old school, mostly) fandom. The Middleman. And I lurk/dabble in: BSG, 30 Rock, Farscape, Firefly, & Bones Favourite characters/pairings in these fandoms: Merlin (Morgana is hands down my favorite. I multi-ship like mad in this fandom, and basically the only one who isn't getting any in my head is Gaius -which I feel slightly guilty about, and feel like I will have to write crakc!fic soon,- I have this obsession with Uther/Morgana though and write fic for them, I accept Arthur/Merlin as cannon even though I don't really participate in that part of the fandom). Doctor Who (Romana/The Doctor, Liz/The Brigadier, Martha/Harry Sullivan, and basically anyone/anyone) The Middleman (Wendy Watson/The Middleman). BSG (Starbuck/Apollo, Kara/Lee, whatever you want to call them I still OTP them like crazy). 30 Rock (Jack/Liz, and sometimes in my weirder moments Tracy/Jenna). Music? I listen to basically anything except rap and r&b, though even for those I have exceptions. Cat Power and Tegan & Sara have to be among my top five if only because their combined catalogue is extensive enough to suit any mood I might get into, of course Bowie alone gets into the top five for this virtue, as do The Beatles. Four spots appear to be taken, and I think I have to give the fifth spot currently to Camera Obscura, just because they have been suiting my mood recently. ...and they're Scottish Books? I am a huge Austenite, though my favorite books are either Dracula by Bram Stoker or I, Lucifer by Glen Duncan. I also love Stephen Fry's books, especially his skill with non-linear story telling and making espionage and the thriller far from formulaic and entirely human. I am currently just finishing a binge of Dorothy L. Sayers novels and am convinced that Peter Wimsey&Harriet Vane could give Crews&Reese a run for their money, but it isn't fair, because they have Bunter and Bunter will tip any scale in his favor. And Shakespeare owns my soul several times over, and usually in a literal sense. Films? The Ruling Class is my favorite, followed closely by The Lady Vanishes. I also will expostulate on how much better The Good German is than The Good Shepherd.
and the rest What's in your journal? Is it f-locked or open? Icons, fic, vids, and mixes are open, as are coherent reviews. I try to f-lock everything else just for tidiness' sake but nothing of any real personal note is there other than the occasional bout of emo, self pitying drivel I can be prone to. Anything else you'd like to add? As you can see I have a sad habit of being overly verbose, and one should be forewarned about this before friending me. Although tonight I may be in exceptionally good form due to aforementioned Dorothy L. Sayers binge, and we can only be happy I have not sunk into Latin quotations, as it is I will close with,
Valete, and the fact that I have never done a friending meme before.
