Mysteries and Medics and Motifs, OH MY!

Guess who came in the mail today?

SO CUUUUTE! And heavy, wow. He's one durable little fella! He's going to be coming with me to the convention for sure. He'll probably fit in my side pack. He was made by krowzivitch.deviantart.com/ . Her commissions are closed right now but she does great business and great work. This guy is really well made!

Also went to see Sherlock Holmes today. My take: Freakin' awesome movie... though I was having a really hard time connecting Downey Jr. with Holmes. If he had a beaky nose and took a shower then yeah, but... wow. I'm ashamed to say that I haven't read a story in a while but I've seen almost all of the movies and the BBC series... and he was always so neat and well kept. He was just a mess in this movie.
Slight Spoiler (you learn this in the beginning of the movie): Maybe he's like that because he's a mess over Watson moving out? I dunno, but I thought he didn't turn into a mess until after the deadly fight with Moriarty in the books. the movie clearly has a lot of creative license.
Either way I really did enjoy it and if the opportunity arises to see it again I'll probably go see it.

Right after the movie my friend and I went to the knitting circle a town over. I'm not a knitter so I'm kinda the black sheep of the group (heh, sheep, wool, knitting... heh :smacked: ) But it's a nice incentive to actually start crocheting again. I got this awesome book on motifs and it;s loads of fun. I made Aria a saucy little bikini. X3

Speaking of Aria, I did a artistic nude photoshoot of her the other day. I'm thinking about putting it up here. I doubt DoA would like it, but she's not doing anything sexual. Meh, I dunno. I wanna post it but I'm getting the feeling that it;s going to get B& hammered.\

Overall: Good day today! :D
